Parameters:

date - Date to pull date information from

Returns:

a new Calendar instance with the date set to the provided date. Time set to zero.

getInstance

@NonNull
public static java.util.Calendar getInstance()

Returns:

a new Calendar instance with the date set to today. Time set to zero.

setToFirstDay

public static void setToFirstDay(java.util.Calendar calendar)

Set the provided calendar to the first day of the month. Also clears all time information.

Parameters:

calendar - Calendar to modify to be at the first fay of the month

copyDateTo

public static void copyDateTo(java.util.Calendar from,
                              java.util.Calendar to)

Copy only date information to a new calendar.

Parameters:

from - calendar to copy from

to - calendar to copy to
